Renewal for your 2026 RPN registration is now open.
To renew your license, you will need to login to the Registrant Portal using the button below. Before you begin, here are some things you should know to make your renewal within the new portal a bit smoother.
As you are aware, CRPNS has recently completed a database upgrade. This includes an upgrade into a newer Registrant Portal. If this is your first time logging into the new portal, you will need to use the “Forgot your password? Reset Password” link in order to set up a new password and security features. Use the email address that you used to log into the old self-service portal and follow the prompts provided as you go.
Once you are logged in, you will then select the registration renewal option from the menu on the left-hand side of your screen and follow the directions to renew your registration. Please keep in mind, if you are renewing from a mobile device your screen will look different and you will need to find the menu button and open the menu to see the options. We do not recommend completing your renewal from a mobile device as the mobile view is not optimized, but it is possible to do so.
Important Renewal Dates:
- The deadline for renewal with no penalty is midnight on December 1. Anyone submitting their renewal between December 2 – December 31 will be subject to a $150 late fee.
- All renewals must be submitted before midnight on December 1, 2025, to ensure processing for January 1, 2026. Any submissions after December 1 cannot be guaranteed to be processed for January 1.
Any member who has not submitted their renewal by midnight on December 31, or who’s renewal application was submitted after December 1 and is not yet approved will be cancelled as of January 1, 2026, and will need to complete the reinstatement process before they are eligible to return to work. Working without a valid license is professional misconduct.
Things to be aware of:
- Be ready with the number of hours worked for this year for each employer (estimate hours for November and December).
- Only straight time hours can be counted. Do not include the addition of the overtime calculation. Also, sick time and vacation time are not included in this total.
- If you cannot find your place of practice in the system, please give us a call at 306-586-4617.
- You are not required to submit your Career-long Learning Program (CLP) documents yearly; however, you must keep a record of your CLP for 5 years, in case you are selected for the CLP verification process.
- CRPNS will no longer provide online registration cards. Registrants, employers, and members of the public are able to verify the status of RPN licensures in real time on the public register: College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Saskatchewan
